Chakra is a Sanskrit word that means wheel and commonly refers to the wheels of energy throughout the body. There are 7 major chakras that are aligned down the spine. The vibrant energy generated by the chakras is a vital life force that keeps our body, mind, and spirit in good health. Students will learn the basics of the chakra system including the traits of each chakra and how they are associated with different areas of the physical body, emotions, and mental aspects. Students will also learn how to identify chakra imbalances in themselves and others and simple ways to bring the chakra system back into balance.
