A choose your own adventure campout July 17-20, 2022 at Indian Flat Group Site on Bumping River, near Naches, WA.
Emergence is non-retreat where attendees can share their passions and explore new things at their own pace and whim; its purpose is to facilitate opportunities to build connections and cultivate belonging. Bring your whole family to this beautiful, private group camp site located right on the Bumping River! Maybe join a meditation group in the morning by the river or do a yoga class, followed by a horseback ride. Spend your day relaxing by the water or attend an art class and join in on a hike facilitated by other campers! In the evenings, dine with fellow campers or on your own and then head to the bonfire for a drum circle or dance party! There will be many activities and classes to choose from with a menu and agenda offered at check in.
This is a bring your own everything campout, but we want everyone to be able to attend regardless of your ability to buy camping equipment! If you are in need, please email us at shop@lotusofthemoon.com. We will be building a donations list and requesting items from other campers to fill needs as they come!
We are seeking collaborators! The whole concept of this campout is to have fellow campers sharing their passions with others. If you can make it into a class or activity for others who may want to join in, it’s a community contribution! Some examples might include: lead a hike, facilitate a meditation circle, teach a yoga class, teach an art class, lead a scavenger hunt for kids, facilitate a group fishing event on the river, lead a reiki circle, teach others how to read oracle or tarot cards, etc. If you would like to offer something during the campout, you will have the opportunity to be part of the planning committee and your camp fee is only $5 per person. You will also be able to choose your own requirements for energy exchange (i.e. if you would like to charge for a class to cover materials, you are free to do so). If this sounds like your jam, you’ll want to register as a “Contributor” below, purchasing the number of tickets needed for yourself and family members that are joining you, if applicable! And, in the message you can send at checkout please let us know what you’d like to offer and if you’d like to be included in the planning committee.
If you would like to use this opportunity to simply immerse yourself in nature or take other people’s classes (or none at all), that is totally great too!!! You’ll want to register as an “Attendee” below. The fee is $10 per camper (kids and adults) for the entire 3 days.
This is a HUGE campsite that can easily accommodate 200+ campers. However, parking is somewhat limited so we encourage ride shares!! There are only 3 spaces available for trailers under 30′ long (no hookups). If you have a trailer, make sure you choose that option below. You must be willing to be a collaborator if you select this option – We are need of a trailer to be a first aid station headquarters and another to be a community kitchen area (we’ll provide the equipment and materials) if you don’t have another offering. Camper vans or other sleeping arrangements that are around the size of a normal truck or van are fine to attend. We are highly encouraging tent camping to accommodate more campers!
You are paying for the entire 3 days with your tickets purchase, but you are not required or obligated to attend the full time if your schedule doesn’t allow it! Even if you can only come for one night or one day, you are welcome and registration is required.
